ESSAY


           The topic that I choose for my lesson was The Little Red Riding Hood because children really love tails. Besides, this topic is attractive to the students. They all know this tale in their mother tongues, so, it is going to be easier for them to understand it. Therefore, the activities presented in this lesson are suitable for children between 10 and 11 years old. Also, through this lesson children can develop the four skills with  attractive activities to motivate them to learn the English language in a fun way. 

             On the other hand, in this course I can say that I enjoyed learning about the different resources that offer the Internet and all the technological tools. The most that I liked from this course was to learn to do a voki and a blog. In spite of this, I think that all the technological tools learned in this course will be excellent to teach English. Finally, my personal opinion on the fact of using ICT’s in the classroom is that they can bring enormous benefits to contribute on education because they improve learning, motivate and engage students, develop skills that are necessary. Thus, teachers can be creative and innovate using  ICT’s in the classroom.

                        The Little Red Riding Hood

                                               stories in a second language…
  
AIM:    By the end of the lesson children will have:
- Practiced and reinforced the vocabulary.

- Gather information and the use it in order to answer questions.
- develop the skills : speaking, reading, listening and writing.

Resources: Bingo cards for children, teacher’s bingo card, (story flashcards 
for the words above, bag)
a) Tell your children you’re going to play ‘Bingo!’ Elicit the rules and aims of the 
game. 
b) Call out a word from the Teacher’s bingo card. If the children have the 
object on their bingo card, they cross it off. The first child to cross off all 
6 items shouts, “Bingo!” Alternatively, hide the relevant story flashcards in a 
bag.  Draw them out one by one. 
c) As a follow-up activity, ask your children to write down 6 words from the 
story on a blank bingo grid. This time, show them the pictures one by one. 
The children read and cross off the words on their cards.

Little Red Riding Hood lived with her mother.
One day Little Red Riding Hood went to see her Granny.
She had a nice cake in her basket.


On her way Little Red met a wolf. "Hello!" said the wolf. "Where are you going?" " I' am going to see my grandmother. She lives in a house behind those trees".





The wolf run to Granny's house, and ate Granny up.
 He got into Granny's bed. A little later, Little Red Riding Hood reached the house. She looked at the wolf.




"Granny, what big eyes you have!"
"All the better to see you him!" said the wolf.

"Granny, what big ears you have!"
"All the better to hear you with!" said the wolf.


"Granny, what a big nose you have!"
"All the better to smell you with!" said the wolf.

"Granny, what a big teeth you have!"
"All the better to eat you with!" shouted the wolf.







A woodcutter was in the wood. He heard a loud scream, and ran to the house.


The woodcutter hit the wolf over the head.
The wolf opened his mouth wide and shouted
and Granny jumped out.




The wolf ran away, and Little red riding Hood never saw the wolf again.
